2nd episode of the series Rat. I've put so much into this animation, from writing the music, to designing and painting the backgrounds and of course the animation too. I thought I'd never see the day I finally uploaded this to NG.

Well what is there to say? Superb backgrounds, superb animation. The story is original and the audio is pretty different. I think I'll vote 5 on NG for ya.

Very intense. Great mix of moody and hyperkinetic moments. I like how you were able to do so much with so little in some of the sequences. :nod:

I really like the shading in this one, this is great work, and I'm kicking myself for being upset over how short this is, considering the amount of time it has taken you to do.

just ignore any length complaints and go at your own pace, you are doing great :D

have you been working on just this the whole time or are you breaking it into pieces?

i dont know i just expected a lot because ive seen what you can do and how good you are at it

It was longer, I animated an additional 3 minutes but I felt I needed to lower the time length because people suggested that 5 minutes was a good time length for an animated short. The last 3 minutes had a chase scene between two characters, but I'm going to include some additional scenes to move the story along faster.

the animation work is very impressive.. i love the backgrounds and the ambient soundtrack. i am getting a bit lost in the story.. maybe i need to watch the frist again!
